    Troop Rip V6

You don't need to be an expert to print like one. With Troop SoftRIP 6.0 even beginners can jump straight in with our simple to use interface.

    Digital Tool Kit

Troop's new Digital Tool Kit brings together the key settings you need to quickly ready images for efficient printing. Size, crop, check color gamut, tile and more without ever leaving the home screen. With navigation that easy, who needs a map?

    A New Way to Work

Troop SoftRIP 6.0 creates new workflow paths to speed your production. Use a standard workflow, or combine them to create a hybrid workflow optimized just for you.

The Direct-to-Layout Workflow uses the full width of your media as a digital canvas. Drop images into the layout window and prepare them to print as a part of your overall print run. With Direct-to-Layout you can even use images already ripped as part of another layout without re-ripping.

Troop SoftRIP's Job-Based Workflow is now easier than ever. When you drag and drop a file from the file browser into your Job Window, all of the tools you need to process that image are right at your fingertips in the new Digital Tool Kit. Once your image is ready to print, one mouse click processes it through to your printer or saves it to layout with other images.

Server-Based Workflows use the RIP exclusively as a control center to manage jobs submitted from remote workstations through production. In 6.0, Troop SoftRIP's production command center moves to the main screen for easier access. With real-time job status and the ability to see RIP and Print queues for all units simultaneously, the Server-Based Workflow has never been easier.

    Smart Nesting Made Smarter

Troop SoftRIP's Smart Nesting tools create efficient layouts automatically, whether you prepare your images directly in the layout window or hold single jobs to arrange later. Smart Nesting uses advanced mathematics to create layout designs that save media costs and guillotine trimming time. In version 6.0, Smart Nesting saves even more media by rotating un-RIP'd files any time that rotation will make the overall layout more efficient.

    Queue Up Efficiency

Version 6.0 moves the Master Queues Manager to the SoftRIP main screen. To save you RIP time again and again, SoftRIP creates Queue entries for every image in your layout as well as the layout itself. Once your image is RIP'd you can drop it into any layout to reprint without re-RIPing. Any layout scenario you can imagine is easier with Troop SoftRIP 6.0.

Why Print & Cut with one device?

Some suppliers suggest you buy a printer and a separate cutter.
Which ever way you look at that scenario, the sums just don't add up.

You have to buy two machines so the upfront cost is higher,
and the extra floorspace doesn't come free, then you have the costs
of the additional time and effort taken to load and unload your graphics
    from printer to cutter.

And should you align your graphics incorrectly in the cutter, they'll be
ruined, which means extra media and ink costs, additional printing time,
increased labour time and reduced profits
